Matt's Bear Cubs 

In person programming: With the COVID-19 Pandemic ongoing, all in-person Matt’s Bear Cubs programs are cancelled at this time. We look forward to a future where we can be outdoors together again, though!

Matt's Bear Cubs is a recurring program that introduces New York City kids ages 8-12 to the great outdoors! In the past we've gone to the Minnewaska State Park, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, Bear Mountain, and explored Fort Tilden with outdoor leaders and Rangers.

Online programming: Zooming to Nature was our 2020- 2021 school year weekly program of the Matthew Potel Foundation for children ages 7-12. In it, we explored the natural world and learned about everything from the marine life of New York City to the big cats of Africa!
