Bear Cubs Trip to a wintry playground at Minnewaska State Park
This winter, our Bear Cubs braved the cold temperatures to enjoy a day at Sam's Point, Minnesawaka State Park! Several Bear Cubs even told us that it was their first trip away from home! We all had a blast doing crafts, learning about wildlife, and doing a scavenger hunt on a hike with spectacular views.
We ended the day with the perfect cold weather treat: hot cocoa and games. Our Bears Cubs didn't let the cold stop them or their enthusiasm, and it was truly a day full of smiles and laughter for everyone present.
A special thanks to the Croton Harmon High School Explorers Club, who donated the coats, gloves, hats and scarves that made this day possible.
